Rohan Mehta, Senior Casino Analyst
Rohan Mehta is Senior Casino Analyst at CrorebetInstall and has compared casino categories for nine years. He runs the house-edge study behind every figure on this site and writes the bonus, Aviator and casino pages. He gives no tips, no predictions, no legal opinions and no financial advice.

Background and experience
Rohan started recording published RTP panels in 2017, first as a hobby spreadsheet during live dealer tests and then as paid analytical work for two operators that wanted to know why the same game category returned different figures on four apps at the same minute. Nine years later the method is unchanged: a category, an RTP figure, a timestamp, and the implied house edge beside it.
He co-founded this project on 11 February 2025 with Priya Nair, on the argument that Indian players were being sold app reviews with no numbers in them. His contribution is the numbers. When a page here says a house edge is 4.8% against a 6.9% average across a six-app sample, Rohan took those snapshots himself, on the same fixtures, within the same short window.
He is not a professional gambler and does not present himself as one. He stakes small, in rupees he can afford to lose, mainly to see how a platform behaves when real money is at stake — how a cash-out figure settles, whether a session line moves between tap and confirmation.
Areas of expertise
Five subjects, each of which produces measurable output rather than opinion:
- Casino game categories — Aviator, Teen Patti, live dealer tables, slots and published RTP panels.
- House edge and RTP — converting return-to-player figures into expected cost and comparing categories across apps.
- Bonus wagering terms — turnover multiples, minimum-turnover clauses, maximum-stake caps and expiry windows, worked through in rupees rather than percentages.
- Crash games and RNG fairness — published return-to-player figures, and why a multiplier history proves nothing about the next round.
- Responsible gambling — deposit limits, loss chasing, self-exclusion tools and the plain reality that the house edge applies to every settled stake.
What he measures, and how
Every figure with his byline came off a handset he was holding: a Redmi Note 12 on Android 13 and a Redmi 9A on Android 10, both on Jio 4G in Pune, both funded from his own bank account.
| Measurement | Method | Frequency |
|---|---|---|
| House edge | Forty game categories sampled across six applications on the same titles, compared by published RTP and measured hold | Quarterly, plus when a major catalogue update ships |
| Cash out accuracy | Live stakes closed at a displayed figure, with the settled amount compared against it | Every test cycle |
| Bonus arithmetic | A real qualifying deposit tracked through wagering until the balance clears or expires | On each change to the offer |
The procedure, the six scoring weights and the honest ceiling on what a handset can prove are set out on our methodology page.
What he does not do
Stating this plainly protects readers more than any credential would.
- He is not a lawyer. Nothing he writes is legal advice. India's regulatory position on real-money online gaming is contested — a 2025 national statute is under challenge in the Supreme Court and several states restrict separately. Our summary of the regulatory picture tells readers to check their own state, because that is the only honest instruction available.
- He is not a financial adviser. Gaming is expenditure, not an asset class, and he will not describe a stake as an investment.
- He does not tip, predict or forecast. No selections, no "systems". Outcomes are uncertain, the operator's margin applies to every settled stake, and losing is the normal result.
- He does not speak for the operator. He cannot release a held payout, unlock an account or override a bonus decision.
A ruling on legality needs a lawyer in your own state. For help with gambling harm, our responsible gaming page lists the tools and support routes.
Standards he works to
Three rules govern his output, and all three are checkable. Figures carry the date they were measured. Claims that cannot be measured from a handset are written as dated observations, not as facts about the platform. Cons appear on every page he writes, including pages where a commercial referral link sits above them. The sourcing rules and the corrections process are in our editorial policy; the devices, weights and stated limits of the method are in how we test.
Pages written by Rohan
Ten pages carry his byline, each written from his own measurements.
- Crorebet casino review — the full assessment, the weighted score and every documented limitation.
- Casino and live dealer gaming markets — game lobby, crash rounds, cash out and the margin comparison.
- Aviator — how the crash round works and what fairness claims actually cover.

- Casino catalogue — the 8,000-plus library, its providers and return-to-player ranges.
- Teen Patti and live dealer tables — table limits, stream quality and Andar Bahar variants.
- Promo code mechanics — where the field sits and what voids a code.
- Regulatory position in India — a neutral, non-advisory summary of a contested picture.
- Table games — live casino coverage, table depth and how RTP compares.
- Alternatives compared — the six-app sample behind our margin benchmarks.
Install behaviour, payments, KYC and support pages are Priya Nair's work; her profile lists them.
How to reach him
One route: the editorial desk at editorial@crorebetinstall.com, or the form on our contact page. Corrections to a price, a margin or a bonus calculation are the most useful thing to send, and a screenshot with a visible timestamp gets checked fastest. Account problems belong with operator support instead.
