Editorial Policy: How We Write and Correct

Last updated: By Rohan Mehta, Senior Casino Analyst 6 min read 18+
Short answer

Every claim on CrorebetInstall comes from first-hand device testing with a date attached, never from operator marketing copy. Numbers we cannot verify are labelled as dated observations rather than facts, tables are re-checked quarterly, and confirmed errors are corrected within two working days under a named byline.

Where our facts come from

Three sources, ranked. First, our own devices: a Crorebet package installed, a deposit sent, a stake settled, a payout received. Second, the operator's own interface, quoted as what a screen displayed on a stated date. Third, public regulatory and policy documents, described in plain language.

Vendor press material sits outside that list. We do not paraphrase promotional copy, we do not reprint feature lists we have not seen working, and a claim that exists only in an affiliate brief does not reach a page. When the Crorebet cashier showed a ₹500 minimum withdrawal on 20 August 2026, that is what we published — not the number an operator brochure preferred.

Definition: dated observation

A dated observation is a measurement tied to a specific device, date and screen, presented as evidence of one moment rather than as a permanent property of the product. "The cashier displayed a ₹500 minimum on 20 August 2026" is a dated observation. "The minimum withdrawal is ₹500" is a claim, and we only make it when the figure has held across repeated checks.

This distinction is not decoration. App builds change silently, limits move without announcement, and a casino operator has no obligation to tell anyone. Presenting a snapshot as a permanent fact is the most common way sites in this category mislead readers without ever writing anything false.

Our standards, and what each one means in practice

Principles are cheap. The right-hand column below is the part that actually constrains what gets published.

Editorial standards applied to every CrorebetInstall page · Last verified: 20 August 2026
StandardWhat it means when we write a page
First-hand testingA figure appears only if one of us produced it on a device we control. Nothing is inferred from a competitor's article.
Dated everythingEach table carries a verification date. Payout timings carry the date and the amount. Version numbers carry the build we installed.
No vendor copyMarketing phrasing is never reused. Feature claims we could not reproduce are omitted rather than softened.
Uncertainty stays visibleWhere our sample is small — three withdrawals, one support contact — we print the sample size next to the conclusion.
Cons on every pageA page with no documented limitation does not pass review. If we found nothing wrong, we did not test hard enough.
Named accountabilityEvery content page carries a byline linking to a profile with the author's background and the pages they own.
Commercial separationReferral links are disclosed on the page they appear on and have no input into scores, weights or the cons list.
No legality verdictWe describe the contested Indian regulatory position and tell readers to check their own state. We never assert that real-money gaming is permitted.

How often is content re-checked?

Quarterly, as a floor. Each quarter we reinstall the current Crorebet build on both test handsets, re-run a deposit and a withdrawal, re-price a sample of casino categories and walk the pages that depend on those numbers. The verification date on every table moves only when someone has actually looked again.

Outside the quarterly cycle, three triggers force an immediate re-check: a new app version, a reader report we can reproduce, and any change to payment rails or KYC requirements that we notice while testing. Pages that go a full quarter without a re-check get their verification date left alone rather than quietly refreshed, which is the point of printing it.

How referral links are kept out of editorial judgement

The site earns commission when a reader registers through one of our links, and that arrangement is disclosed on our about page and in the footer of every page. The separation is procedural rather than a promise: scoring weights are fixed in advance on the methodology page, the criteria are the same for every app we price, and the cons list is written before the verdict paragraph.

Two practical consequences. We publish a 4.9 out of 5 for transparency and licensing on the Crorebet platform even though we are paid to link to it, because an Anjouan licence and a 2024 launch date do not earn more. And we describe the 700% four-deposit bonus alongside the wagering condition that makes it hard to clear, because a reader who discovers that after depositing has been failed by us, not by the operator.

What we refuse to publish

Some material is excluded by rule, not by editorial taste, and no commercial arrangement changes the list.

  • Any claim that a result can be guaranteed. Gaming outcomes are uncertain, the house margin is real, and most players lose money over time. We say so on the pages that discuss odds.
  • Prediction services, tipster content and "systems". We do not publish them, link to them or describe them as viable.
  • Modified, cracked or repackaged application files. These are malware vectors, and no altered client can change odds or balances that are computed on an operator's servers.
  • Assertions about legality. The national framework is contested and state rules differ, so we describe the position and stop there.
  • Invented credibility markers. No fabricated licence numbers, awards, certifications, user counts, download totals or helpline numbers we have not confirmed.
  • Reader personal data. Payout experiences sent to us are used in aggregate; names, account numbers and phone numbers are never published.

Underage gambling. This site is for adults aged 18 and over. We do not write content aimed at minors, and every page carries the age restriction in the header, the meta bar and the footer.

How to report an error, and what we do with it

Reader corrections are the fastest way this site improves, because a reader on a different handset in a different state sees things our two devices never will.

  1. Quote the exact claim

Copy the sentence or table row you believe is wrong and include the page URL. A description of the section is not enough for us to locate a figure.

  2. State what you observed

Tell us what the app showed instead, on which date, on which handset and in which language. A screenshot with the date visible is the strongest form of report.

  3. Send it to the editorial desk

Email editorial@crorebetinstall.com with the URL in the subject line. That inbox reaches the two editors who write these pages, and nobody else.

  4. We attempt to reproduce it

Within two working days we try to repeat your observation on our own devices. You get a reply either way, including when we cannot reproduce the problem.

  5. The page is corrected and dated

A confirmed error is rewritten, the last-updated date moves, and a correction note is added wherever the mistake could have changed a reader's decision. A figure that merely aged is refreshed with a new verification date.

Reports about your own account — a blocked login, a pending withdrawal, a bonus that did not credit — cannot be resolved by us. Those belong with the operator, and the support escalation guide explains how to raise them effectively.

Bylines, expertise and AI assistance

Pages are assigned by subject rather than by availability. Casino platform pricing, market depth and bonus mathematics are written by Rohan Mehta; package security, install behaviour, payments and support testing by Priya Nair. Where a page crosses both areas, the second editor reviews it and that is noted in the author box.

On AI: we use language models for outline structuring and copy-editing, and for nothing else. No figure, test result, timing, screenshot description or verdict on this site was generated by a model. Every number was produced by a person holding a device, and a named editor signs off each page before it publishes. If that ever changes, this paragraph changes with it.
